Jim Jay


Jim Jay is a founding member of Chatham Capital Partners, LLC, which serves as the Manager of the Company. He also serves as the President of the Company. Jim also serves as Chairman, President and CEO of San Diego based Vincumlum Communications, Inc., a technology company focused on VoIP services. Previously Jim served as CEO of TechPoint and TechPoint Ventures, Inc. TechPoint is an Indiana-based organization charged with leading a focused and aggressive statewide effort to help transform and promote the state’s technology sector. As President and CEO of TechPoint Ventures, Inc., Jim has led the investment of over $20 Million in early stage capital in 14 Indiana based tech companies through HALO Capital Group which he started in 2009. A successful business leader and entrepreneur, Jim sold a technology company he co-founded prior to joining TechPoint. Jim has also served in numerous executive level positions, including as president of Indianapolis-based Elim, Inc., a company that provided financial analysis, operations, marketing and strategic planning for companies in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. Jim has also led the formation and daily operations of several successful startup companies in the technology sectors.

A high honors graduate of Butler University, Jim directed marketing and strategic planning efforts for Anthem’s (now WellPoint) Adminastar Communications, Inc. which included mergers, acquisitions and integration. Jim has been an investor or facilitated investments in the following companies: BidPal, WebLink, SCT Flash, Vinculum, Emerging Threats Pro, Smarter Remarketer, CineTal, BlueLock, TinderBox, Nico, PolicyStat, GoPath, RICS.

Jim serves or has served on the boards of FlowCo, Inc; Employ Indy, Inc.; Elevate Ventures, Inc.; ModalLogix, LLC; and the Orr Entrepreneurial Fellowship. He is an advisory board member for the Butler University Business Accelerator and AccuTech Systems, Inc. Jim’s prior experience also includes serving on the staff of US Senator Richard G. Lugar of Indiana and running successful political campaigns. He is also an active member of College Park Church.

Jim has been honored as one of the Indianapolis Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, as Lawrence Township Schools’ Distinguished Alumnus and as one of Indiana’s youngest Eagle Scouts.
